Monroe-Union County Indvidual Development Accounts is a is a program that provides matching funds to assist with the costs of purchasing a home

Who is eligible for this program?

Borrowers must have earned income from emplpoyment or self-employment, and must be able to save between $50 and $250 per month Borrowers must have incomes no higher than 200% of the poverty limit Funds may be used to pay costs associated with purchasing a home, such as closing costs, appraisals, or inspection fees

Benefit Details

Participants must be enrolled in the account for at least six, but no more than fifteen, months. Withdrawals are not permitted until the sixth month. Savings are matched on a 2:1 basis, with maximum amount matched of $1000
